@melvynx I found it useless, context easily hits 100%, auto mode didn’t work, it was mostly unavailable for me. And when it did work it burned through my credits in 30 minutes
Booted up my computer, used Fable 5 to compact an existing session => 10% of my session usage
I have 4 more sessions that need a compact, i guess i won't be doing it with fable
@bcherny Ideally I would want Claude code sessions communication with other sessions. Or alternative support that Claude code ran with -p command and —name command would work and the session context would be preserved when I run —resume for the same name
@TheBrancaShow Andrew is raging bating over here, your takes are the silliest on this subject. The YouTuber didn’t “think” he was proven right in court
@mxmmironov@kupolov@dlwiest you are just not able to burn your weekly limits in a day.. you need at leaast 2-3 with actual intese work (without automation)
you hit the 5 hour limits,
for example I've started working on monday, i am able to hit around 30% weekly limits in a single session before I get rate limited in the 5 hour window. Then in the next 5 hour window, i am only able to hit 40% weekly limits, and even if i'm able to have another session after 10 hours of work day, i'm only able to hit 50% in a single day. In the next day the limits are still low for me, so i can hit up to 80% of my weekly limits on the 2nd day, then on the 3rd day I have 20% of my weekly limit left. so even if you automate some functionality and burn tokens, at best your WEEKLY limit lasts 2 days. and there are 4 weeks in a month.. so you can't burn your $100 monthly seat in a day. at worst you'll get 8 days of solid work a month on that subscription.
@kupolov@dlwiest Nope, you can’t burn the $100 premium seat in a day. Claude won’t let you. You can however burn your weekly limit in about 2-3 days of intense work.
@tdinh_me It’s annoyingly slowwweww as well.. I do see an increase in the tokens. But I can’t reach the limit for how slow opus 4.8 is! The worst case it doesn’t let me downgrade to 4.7
@dani_avila7 so far i'm asking opus 4.8 a simple question only to be staring at the screen for the next 10 minutes while it's thinking....
at least the output is solid
