@DavidtheSyriac Bible doesn't prove you Aramean. Neither do the church fathers. "Assyrian" is defined as being any person of Mesopotamian origin who speaks Eastern Aramaic. Syriac is part of the Eastern Aramaic family.
@DavidtheSyriac Then you wouldn't have the word "Syriac" in your name. Syria & all its derivative words originates from "Assyria" & it's been etymologically proven.
@DavidtheSyriac Syriac is part of the Mesopotamian (Akkadian influenced) dialect of Aramaic, this is the main branch Eastern Aramaic is based on.
Real Arameans speak Western Aramaic which today survives as "Aromay".
