ANNOUNCEMENT BY SHEIKH ABDUL RAHMAN SUDAIS

Head of Religious Affairs addressed the pilgrims on the occasion of the last ten days:

Collaborate with the security personnel, adhere to instructions, avoid crowding, and feel the sanctity of the place.

His Excellency, the Head of Religious Affairs for the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, urged the pilgrims of the Two Holy Mosques during the last ten days of Ramadan to cooperate with the security authorities, adhere to instructions, avoid crowding, and respect the sanctity of the place, observing its etiquette and seizing the blessed days.

He advises everyone to devote themselves to worship and avoid distraction with mobile phones and photography.

He congratulated Muslims on the occasion of the arrival of the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, praying for the acceptance of fasting and night prayers, seeking forgiveness from the Fire, and success in observing Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree), asking Allah to make it a blessed period for Islam, Muslims, and the rulers, spreading its blessings to all.

He emphasized the significance of Laylat al-Qadr, urging everyone to seize the opportunity of these blessed nights, striving to attain its immense rewards.

He stressed the importance of reviving the tradition of retreat during the last ten days of Ramadan, emphasizing reverence for the sacred place, Masjid Al Haram, and following its etiquettes, security measures, and cooperating with the authorities.

He highlighted the honor of these blessed days, encouraging everyone to draw closer to Allah through righteous deeds, fasting, night prayers, Quran recitation, charity, and noble manners, following the example of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who exerted extra effort during these last ten days.

He provided advice to women visiting Masjid Al Haram, urging them to adhere to designated prayer areas, observe etiquette, maintain their modesty and dignity, avoid crowding with men, and ensure the discipline of their children to preserve the solemnity of the holy place.

He extended congratulations and prayers to the rulers for their diligent care and service to the Two Holy Mosques, wishing them abundant blessings from Allah for their efforts.
