To the unmarried brethren who are followers of Jesus, hear this:
For a marriage to work, both parties would have to first be disciples of Jesus. If either has a discipleship problem, the marriage is bound to be problematic.
Young lady, before you marry, ensure he has sense. Ensure he follows Jesus and that he has figures in his life that he is submitted to.
Don't marry him if he's isn't submitting to anybody or he claims to be submitting to the body of Christ. Don't marry him, he will lead you into a ditch.
If there is nobody in his life you can call in a bid to call him to order when he's clearly out of line, leave him alone.
Before we got married, my wife knew the persons in my life that can wake me to from sleep and direct me to immediately enter the road and I would oblige and ask questions later.
She knew who could ask me to put off my convictions and I would and ask questions later.
If I were to direct her to do something that she wasn't comfortable with she knew who she would call and would direct me to do otherwise. She has never got to press that button, but if the day comes that she has to, she knows she can.
A man who doesn't submit to anyone is a red flag. Stay away from him. It is one of the reasons to keep sex out of your courtships so that you will see very well and your vision isn't orgasm coloured.
Any man who tells you up front that he has the final say should be avoided especially if he doesn't listen to anyone else.
The best way you can fix a bad marriage is to avoid it.
Young man, any lady who undermines the biblical command to be submissive even in passing, should be avoided. Also, if she isn't submitting to anyone, if there's nobody in her life who can tell her not to travel even when she really desires to and she would defer to them, avoid her.
You can't teach an old dog new tricks is a popular saying. If she tells you that "I know this is what the Paul says but...", run o.
A man's relationship with his wife should be selfless. Put your wife first. If both of you need a car but can only afford one, let her have it. You can jump taxis.
Put your wife's needs before yours.
She is your wife and you are her defender.
Never make your wife vulnerable. Protect her, defend her. God will hinder your prayers if you maltreat your wife (that's if you are a prayerful person).
Lady, relate with your husband as if he were Christ's regent. Willingly submit to his authority.
Let him know you're on his team, that way it will be easy for you to get to him.
Marriage is all about putting the other person first.
If you can't do that, please stay as you are. Don't come and stress another person's child.
The Lord will perfect that which concerns you.
He is our right Hand.
Behold Him and you'll reflect Him, even in that area of weakness, His power will be your strength.
His power is made perfect in our weaknesses.
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” - Romans 8:28 NLT
Let me share with you something that the Holy Spirit taught me sometime back that helped me in warfare in the place of prayer.
It's is called STRATEGIC WARFARE. (Call your enemy by name) 🔥
He told me, "Never declare war without knowing who you're fighting".

OVERCOMING SECRET SINS 1: THE DIAGNOSTIC PART (A)
Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. (James 5:16, AMP)
The Lord has as a matter of urgency drawn my attention to this verse of Scripture for both diagnostic & therapeutic purposes.
The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man or woman is able to do much because it generates a lot of power. How? When they first rid themselves of the direct or tangential influences of sin by opening up to fellow believers.
Sin of course prospers in secrecy while it dissipates the believer’s powers and power potentials. When exposed through interpersonal confession, sin desiccates and becomes powerless like resin in the sun.
The Bible proclaims emphatically,
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13, NKV)
Note that the confession type that James talks about here is not the type you do to God, it is the type you do to fellow believers with whom you have interpersonal relationship. The reason being that there are life supplies that the Lord has put in His body that can only be accessed through the effective practice of church life. When confession is made and prayer is made, healings and restorations are enjoyed.
What are the types of sins that should be confessed to fellow believers (especially those with high stature and ranking with the Lord)?
They are what the writer of Hebrews calls ‘the sin which so easily ensnares us,’ (Hebrews 12:1, NKJV).
They are sins built around natural desires and lusts - with enough capacity to bind their practitioners in secrets habits.
They are sins with enough oomph to decimate will power and enslave the believer on the ground even though they are seated with Christ in heavenly places.
This is why some believers today, though tongue-blasting, agonise in many secret sins.
