This scene hurt so much and it’s a great example of why representation is so damn important. I’ve had moments like this in my life when I was younger and seeing just one positive portrayal of myself as a queer person, happy, would have changed my entire world.
you're watching a funny show about a shy gay teenage boy and then it hits you with a scene where the protagonist is reminded that he'll never get to have the kind of "normal" relationship society expects of him uahgg
if you knew you were gay as a teenager this series encapsulates that feeling so much. it’s one of the most special pieces of media that has ever touched me.
as someone who literally went through a crush phase like Nakamura's, ts is so realistic and that makes it so worth the watch.
this is not about how they ended up together, but how it was like to live in Nakamura's POV
The best bl anime adaptation we have gotten so far.
Usually I find the manga more superior than the anime but this time around it’s the opposite
The anime displayed nakamura’s struggles with being a gay teen so well and in a way where many queer people can relate to🥹
We hold so much love in our hearts for Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! and we hope you do too! Check out this special piece of art we commissioned from character designer Aoi Umeki 🌈
