In December, our Month of Hope campaign raised an incredible £2,400 for East Lancashire Hospice.

Yesterday, our academy attended the Holocaust Memorial Day service at Blackburn Cathedral. With the 2026 theme Bridging Generations, students reflected on the importance of remembrance.

As part of our Month of Hope campaign, Sixth Form students donated essential items to support people experiencing homelessness in Blackburn. Lisa from Community Spirit visited the academy to collect the donations, which will make a meaningful difference in our local community.

Congratulations to all our A-Level students receiving results today - our overall pass rate has risen to 98% for the challenging A-Level courses with many subjects achieving 100%. Well done to those with outstanding individual results too - here's just a few!

UKMT MATHS CHALLENGE

Well done to Brian E and Nicole L (Y7) and Jacob B and Ziyaad L (Y8) for achieving Gold in this year's challenge! Nicole progressed to the next round (Junior Kangaroo) and got Silver in that too! Very well done to you all!
