You guys really seemed to love the roseate spoonbill, which I totally get. So, have another photo of one I just finished editing!

Did you know they were nearly wiped out in the 1800's due to the plume trade? By the 1930's there were fewer than 30 nesting pairs left in the state of Florida. They've recovered since and serve as a great indicator species for the Everglades in terms of water health!
