Over ONE HUNDRED diplomats from more than FIFTY countries walked out when the war-criminal Netanyahu spoke at the UN. More than a dozen world leaders, including Spain, France, Brazil, and Chile, strongly criticized his regime, called the Gaza tragedy a genocide, and some even called for him to be tried in the Hague. This is absolutely unprecedented in the history of the United Nations. No other world leader has been treated with such contempt.

No one deserves to be shot brutally in public, sliced open by the bullet of a cowardly sniper.

Hence, I condemn in the strongest terms the targeted assassination of at least 1500 Palestinians by snipers - many of whom were women and children collecting food - by the IDF cowards in Gaza.

And I condemn in the strongest terms the shooting of over 1000 Palestinians living in the West Bank in 'clashes' instigated by Isareli forces.

And I also condemn in the strongest terms the bombing and intentional killing of over 70,000 civilians in Gaza by the genocidal regime of Netanyahu.

Anyone who justified or mocked those deaths deserves no sympathy and is no hero - even as the same verdict above holds true for them as well.

Dying by violence does not cleanse a legacy of justifying violence.

Even words of support are banned! As if we couldn't be even more humiliated in our incapacity to help our starving brethren in Gaza...

Al-Azhar University issued a statement encouraging the world to act and help the starving children in Palestine. While the strongly worded statement was literally just words on paper, it was at the very least a symbolic gesture of solidarity and a call to action from a historic institute.

Within a day, the political authorities of the region requested the statement to be withdrawn, and the University then rescinded the statement.

How is it possible that we have reached such a level that even a mere *statement* in support of Gaza is not allowed?! How weak and powerless does it appear!

Yet still, as believers in Allah, we always expect the best, and we firmly believe that from the darkest of times, the brightest of lights will emerge! I am certain that we shall see positive change in the Ummah, for such oppression simply cannot go unpunished, and the patience of our sisters and brothers in Gaza will be rewarded.

We ask Allah to be of those who are a part of that revival!

I can't believe its been 24 years. I remember this so vividly.

I was traumatised by this at the time and, as a new father, I'm even more traumatised now.

Imagine, just imagine, hiding behind a tiny wall, shielding your child for dear life, while for 40 minutes soldiers shoot to kill you both, finally killing your child with a bullet to the stomach, as you sit there, helpless, holding your bleeding, dying child, knowing that could do nothing to protect them and knowing that you can do nothing to save them. Knowing they're gone forever and that you must bear that pain for the rest of your days.

The man lived on.... only to lose his other son and brothers in an Israeli air strike in Gaza recently.

The man is Jamal al-Durrah.
His son was Muhammad al-Durrah.
Know their names.

Israel have cultivated an environment where only blood, war and vengeance can prevail. Israel is not a nation of peace. Not for its own people, not for its neighbours and not for the people they subjugate and oppress on their own land.
