Strict Action Against Open Dumping at Viman Nagar.

This morning, during an enforcement and awareness drive at Nicco Garden, Viman Nagar, unauthorized dumping of mixed waste by local vendors was observed.

Taking immediate cognizance, Dr. Sadhana (AMO, PMC) and the Sanitary Inspector (SI) imposed penalties on the concerned vendors for non-compliance. 📝💸

The violators were strictly instructed to stop open dumping immediately. They have been directed to practice 100% waste segregation and hand over their waste exclusively to the PMC door-to-door collection vehicles.

Compliance is not optional; it is a duty.

It takes more than 10 mins to reach Wakad bridge from the underpass as the service road has become unusable due to water clogging and potholes. Need a metro kind of solution from Mukai Chowk to Wakad.
The traffic flow is in pathetic situation.

Now my question here is as a customer do I have a choice or no?
When a customer starts a service it is bound that they will end it at some point of time irrespective of their reasons. I have been a Tikona user for 3 years now & faced bandwidth issues in past.

I have paid my last bill against the delay as mentioned by @TikonaTIL. The company sent a mail with subject line : Demand Notice.
This was against the outstanding dues wherein I already insisted for discontinuation.

Finally, the dust settled in August and the calls stopped coming. My plan was deactivated in the End of July. It was only yesterday that I received a mail saying that a criminal charge can be put against me if I don’t pay the outstanding dues.
