Last Saturday, Sakhâ joined forces w/ 3 other youth-led organizations from North & South Kivu to create an unforgettable Christmas celebration for families in need. Our mission was simple yet powerful: to bring joy to families displaced by war in the Territory of Nyiragongo.

This activity ispart of the project "A Child's Place is in School," of @SakhaFBI and reaffirms its mission to promote education, fight food insecurity, and improve the well-being of children from underprivileged backgrounds.

SAKHA FBI visited the Foyer Social Ek’Abana and Maman SIFA Orphanage to conduct a charitable activity.

Our intervention included both the provision of foods, material support and the facilitation of an educational session. We extend our gratitude to our generous donors.

These families have faced unimaginable hardships, forced to flee their homes due to ongoing conflict. Together, we served hot meals to 400 children and 200 families, distributed food supplies, and shared Christmas gifts including toys, clothes, sweets, and slippers.
