Israel is accused of smuggling addictive opioids into Gaza under the guise of humanitarian aid.

Disturbing reports have emerged from Gaza revealing a covert and insidious form of warfare allegedly employed by Israeli forces: the smuggling of the highly addictive opioid Oxycodone into the besieged enclave through humanitarian aid shipments. Pharmacists and health officials on the ground report that not only were pills found concealed within sacks of flour, but in some cases, the flour itself appears to have been laced with the narcotic.

Oxycodone, a drug typically reserved for severe pain relief in terminally ill patients, is known for its devastating side effects, including addiction, cognitive impairment, and respiratory failure. In the already fragile context of Gaza, where access to mental health support is virtually nonexistent, this deliberate poisoning strategy risks irreparable harm to the social and psychological fabric of a population already suffering from years of blockade and bombardment.
