The arrogance of these individuals - who believed they know better than the senior scholars - did not start today. Even when senior scholars like Shaykh Rabī' and Shaykh 'Ubayd were openly praising Shaykh 'Arafāt, these people refused to accept it. They did not merely reject the scholars' commendations and recommendations, but they also actively cautioned others against the very individuals the senior scholars were praising.

Shaykh Rabī' explicitly recorded an audio encouraging the promotion of Shaykh 'Arafāt's classes, yet Abu 'Iyād proudly declares: "Hence, I never raised or promoted these individuals."

This proves that while the senior scholars were directing the Ummah in one direction, these individuals were secretly steering their followers in another.

Does this mean they also secretly believed the scholars were "deceived by their inner circle," just as the blind followers of Ibn Hādi claimed?

Why, then, do they suddenly present themselves today as the true upholders of the legacy of Shaykh Rabī' and Shaykh 'Ubayd? If they were already rejecting the explicit advice of Shaykh Rabī' and Shaykh 'Ubayd back then, why should anyone be surprised that they are rejecting the statements of Shaykh 'Abdullah al-Bukhārī today?

This rebellious stance perfectly mirrors an encounter we (myself, Abu 'Affān 'Uthmān, and Abul 'Abbās 'Abdul-Kabīr) experienced firsthand on Jumu'ah, October 24, 2025 in the sitting room of Fawwāz al-Madkhali. We asked him about Shaykh Bandar al-Khaybari and he immediately launched into a tirade, insulting the Shaykh, as well as Shaykh 'Abdulilāh Ar-Rifā'i, Shaykh Ahmad Az-Zahrāni, and others.

After finishing his insults, Fawwāz said: "You see that these people that Muhammad bin Hādi spoke against, he was 100% correct in what he used in describing them..." He then proceeded to repeat the very insults Ibn Hādi had uttered against them, approving of them one by one, before concluding with the shocking claim: "Ibn Hādi was 100% correct in his description, only that he was hasty!"

May Allah bless the scholars who accurately stated that this current fitnah is merely a continuation of the fitnah of Muhammad bin Hādi.

May Allah protect us from their fitnah.

قال الإمامُ ابنُ أبي حاتمٍ:"سمعتُ أبا زُرعةَ يقولُ:كتبَ إليَّ إسحاقُ بنُ رَاهويه:لا يَهولنَّكَ ��لْبَاطِلُ فإنَّ للباطِلِ جَولةً ثُمّ يَتَلَاشَى"(الجرح والتّعديل)(١/ ٣٤٢).
والمعنى:لا بَقاء للباطلِ وإنْ جَالَ جَولَةً؛فلا يَهولنَّك؛فإنّه إلى زَوالٍ؛ذلك أنّ البقاءَ والظُّهورَ للحقِّ،فإنْ كانَ للباطلِ جَولةٌ،فالحَقَّ له ألفُ جَولةٍ،قال تعالى{وَقُلْ جاءَ الحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ البَاطِلُ إِنَّ الباطِلَ كانَ زَهُوقاً}.

قال الإمامُ أبو بكرٍ الآجريُّ:"إنْ ق��لَ قائلٌ: فإنْ كان رجُلٌ قدْ عَلَّمَهُ اللَّهُ تعالى عِلْماً، فجاءَهُ رجلٌ يَسألُه عَنْ مَسألةٍ في الدِّينِ، يُنازِعُهُ فيها ويُخاصِمُه،تَرَى لهُ أنْ يُناظرَهُ، حتّى تَثْبُتَ عليهِ الحُجّةُ،ويَرُدَّ عليهِ قولَه؟ قيلَ لهُ:هذا الّذي نُهينَا عنهُ،وهو الّذي حَذَّرَنَاهُ مَنْ تَقدَّمَ مِنْ أئمّةِ المُسلمينَ.
فإنْ قَالَ قائلٌ:فماذَا نَصنَعُ؟
قيلَ لهُ:إنْ كان الّذي يَسألُكُ مسألتَهُ مسألَةَ مُستَرشِدٍ إلى طريقِ الحَقِّ لامُناظَرَةً؛فأرْشِدْهُ بألْطَفِ ما يكونُ مِنَ البيانِ بالعِلمِ مِنَ الكتابِ والسُّنّةِ وقولِ الصّحابةِ،وقولِ أئمَّةِ المُسلمينَ رضيَ اللَّهُ عنهُم،وإنْ كان يُريدُ مُنَاظَرَتَكَ ومُجادَلَتَكَ؛فهذا الّذي كَرِهَ لك العُلماءُ، فلا تُناظِرْهُ،واحْذَرْهُ على دينِك،كما قالَ مَنْ تَقدَّمَ مِنْ أئمَّةِ المُسلمينَ إنْ كُنتَ لهُمْ مُتَّبِعاً.
فإنْ قال: فَنَدَعُهُمْ يَتكَلَّمونَ بالباطِلِ، ونَسْكُتُ عنهُمْ؟
قيلَ لهُ:سُكُوتُك عنْهُمْ وهِجْرَتُكَ لِما تَكلَّمُوا بهِ أشَدُّ علَيهِمْ مِنْ مُناظرتِك لهُم، كذا قال مَنْ تَقدّمَ مِنَ السّلَفِ الصّالحِ مِنْ ع��لماءِ المُسلمينَ"

**Encouragement To Attend Sufyān al-Thawrī Conference:**

By the permission of Allāh, last year's conference was a successful and immensely beneficial event. By His favour and blessings, He has facilitated for us to organise it again this year, and our communities eagerly await its return. Alḥamdulillāh.

Regrettably, it has come to our attention that some overly zealous individuals are warning against a Salafī conference at which honourable, well-known Scholars and Salafī duʿāt will be participating, with some travelling from afar to benefit our communities.

We advise our brothers and sisters not to lend an ear to such people. They are unable to produce a single principle from the Qurʾān and Sunnah to substantiate their claims. Instead, they choose to spread their warnings in private WhatsApp groups and the likes, discouraging people from attending gatherings of knowledge.

To our youth in particular: do not be deceived by these claimants. There is a reason their "advice" is confined to private circles rather than presented openly with clear evidence.

We make clear that we stand firmly with our scholars, honour their status, and value their guidance. The way of Ahl al-Sunnah is to return to the scholars, preserve their honour, and hold firmly to knowledge-based guidance, with clear evidence.

Those making these warnings should be asked: which scholars have they consulted regarding these claims? Upon what basis do they have for discouraging people from attending gatherings of knowledge? Since when was making baseless warnings in private circles, regarding clear Salafī gatherings of knowledge the way of our senior scholars, past and present?! Audacious claims of this nature require clear evidence and reference back to the people of knowledge. They should certainly not be referred back to overly bold individuals who prop themselves up in private WhatsApp chats.

We ask Allāh to bless this year's conference, make it even more beneficial than the last, and allow our communities to continue reaping its rewards. Last year's event was greatly appreciated by those who attended, and, by the permission of Allāh, this year's will be even better. In shā Allāh.

The Mālikiyyah hold that if a person remembers that there is an impurity on his clothing while on the prayer, he must stop his prayer, except he fears the time of the prayer will elapse.

However, the correct opinion is that he removes that particular clothing and continue the prayer, except he is unable to do so. Then, he should leave the prayer.

They [the Mālikiyyah] hold that whoever prays in such clothing and remembers afterwards should pray again if time permits — i.e., this is desired.
