National Doughnut Day began in 1938 to honour the “Doughnut Lassies” of The Salvation Army who bravely served doughnuts to frontline soldiers during WWI!

Today, doughnuts still symbolize our commitment to sharing hope and support with people across Canada and Bermuda.
