Odstock Health & Fitness Centre has been named ‘Gym of the Year', as voted by readers of the Salisbury Journal🎉
The newspaper held a ballot for the public to choose the best health & fitness facility in the Salisbury area, and was a competition that celebrates venues that go the extra mile for their members, from expert coaching and inclusive classes to a strong community spirit and support for all ages and abilities.
Centre Manager Sally Crook said: “Being named Gym of the Year, voted by the community, means a tremendous amount to our team. The highly-trained and qualified team work hard to offer an encouraging, friendly environment, supporting our members and casual users, whether they’re hospital staff, patients or members of the public, through their exercise journey, whether they are recovering from illness or injury, entering the world of fitness for the first time or just offering tips and advice to regular gym users. Odstock Health & Fitness Centre is essential to the wellbeing of the hospital staff, patients and the local community, and with the wide range of activities available, there is something to offer everyone. The team is always there to deliver with their enthusiasm and passion."
The Centre is sited on the grounds of Salisbury District Hospital and includes two swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym, fitness classes, treatments, squash courts and meeting/function rooms.
