Napoleon replied, “I act, and the plan emerges from my action.”

never underestimate amateurs who believe in themselves.

someone who believes in what they're doing keeps going through the stretch when nobody is paying attention yet and that persistence is often what separates a hobby that becomes a skill

The main reason why most people don't succeed at anything is because they're not prepared to be bad at something for a long time.

A big realization for a lot of people is they need to stop daydreaming about what they could be. It’s super easy to think you're meant for big things, but if you look at your everyday routine, it often tells a different story. There's this huge gap between what you say you want and what you actually do. You might talk a big game about being ambitious, but deep down, your discipline is just… average. Lot of people want a life of plenty and amazing results, but they're only willing to put in a regular amount of effort. This ends up making them rely on other people to believe in them, even when their own actions don't really back that up.
Thinking about your potential can feel nice, like a comfy blanket that makes you feel special without having to prove anything. But discipline? That busts the whole illusion. It forces you to actually work for the life you claim you deserve. At the end of the day, what you truly want is shown in your habits; everything else is just talk.

You should get to a time in life when you cannot be relying on having accountability partners for things that would positively affect your life, abeg.

At some point, you need to be able to hold yourself accountable. Because nobody can want your growth more than you do.
