African immigrant- Jerry Sowood, 27, of Sunshine West in Melbourne's western suburbs, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday after randomly assaulting a 10 year old boy & stabbing the child’s mother in Melbourne.

Sowood, who appeared on video link from the Melbourne West Police Station where he carried out the alleged attack just outside, told the court he would not hide from what he had allegedly done. 

“Yeah, I'm telling what I did & I'm saying there's no family that was torn apart,' he told the court”. 

“Even though I did what I did, the mum did not lose her child. Her child was not taken away from her. 

I took the scissors and I stabbed a woman ... I'm just clarifying it.'

Sowood refused legal representation during the hearing, and further declined seeing a nurse in custody because it 'wasn't relevant'.  

“I was in body sound and mind when I did what I did” he told the court.

“At least they're both still breathing, you know. So I kept my humanity back. It might be somewhat traumatised” he said.

No regret, so empathy & no remorse.

Daily Mail revealed Sowood was a rapper, who posted a series of YouTube videos to a tiny audience which often went unviewed by anyone.

In one sinister post, he said:
“The conclusion I’ve come to, human beings will never learn the meaning of humanity, unless there’s equal amount of bloodshed”.

The Liberian-born budding rap star made no application for bail and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance in October.

So there’s a new data centre proposed for Dalby that is going to rely on rain water harvesting to source its water supply.

As someone who has watched farmers have to give up their irrigation licences to “save the environment” how is it that a foreign owned company is going to be allowed to “harvest” water but farmers can’t?

This is a classic example of one rule for wealthy foreigners and another one hard working Australians.

There had better be a lot more transparency around exactly how much water this data centre is going to harvest and what impact will it have on downstream communities like my hometown of Chinchilla!

On top of that Blackout Bowen is insisting Data Centres are powered by renewables rather than coal. Of course this is preposterous as Kogan Creek power station is just down the road from the proposed site. Kogan Creek sits on 400 million tonnes of coal and has a vacant pad for another turbine.

Why would anyone destroy valuable farmland with renewables. It’s just madness.

The obsession with renewables needs to end. People First will abolish all subsidies for renewables and require environmental bonds to paid on existing sites.

“A development application prepared for Zerra DC has been lodged for the Western Downs Digital Park. Once constructed, it will be considered one of Australia’s largest data centres, located at 1933 Dalby–Kogan Road, Kogan (35 km from Dalby).

The data centres would primarily use air-cooled technology, supported by a closed-loop liquid cooling system using rainwater harvesting and treated wastewater.

An on-site battery-backed power conditioning system would also support the development’s electricity requirements and strengthen the local power network. The site’s proximity to existing energy infrastructure is identified as a key factor in its suitability for the development.
