🚨 A 764 predator who blackmailed 117 underage girls into self-harm and carving his name into their skin ONLY received two years in prison.

Justin Swaddle, 20, blackmailed girls aged 13-17 into sending explicit videos, self-harming, and carving his online names into their skin. Investigators also found content of children as young as 3 on his devices.

A predator with over a hundred victims walks away with a sentence shorter than many people get for far less. The system keeps proving that the people who destroy children the most still get protected the most.

How is two years supposed to be justice for 117 victims?

Watching this video, I am filled with overwhelming anger and shame. Shame that in this country, “the land of the free,” people can be stripped of their dignity and treated with such profound cruelty at the stroke of a pen.

The Trump administration stripped some 300,000 Haitians of their legal status overnight. Many of these people have spent decades building their lives in the United States, and now they’re being branded with a tracking device that restricts their movement without ICE permission. It is humiliating. It is dehumanizing. And it is cruel.

Familial sexual abuse is one of the most infamous crimes I can think of. And as a society we put the full burden on the victims.

We also don’t seem to care much about the actual living children, we have cut programs that subsidize school lunches, medical care, etc.

We live in a democracy where people practice multiple religions, and some are agnostic, and some non-believers. How can that society function if the laws are catering to one set of beliefs?
