Kilmarnock, Shrewsbury, Malaga, England in that order. Podcast Host for @TheatreOfPies ,East Stand STH. Statistics and FM geek. All opinions are my own.
What a rollercoaster 🎢 of a season that has been from Kettlehell to masterclass McCann.
When McCann & Dodds came in we were lying in a sorry sight on 13 points from 21 games. Since then an incredible turn around of 24 points from 16 games, 6 wins out of 8 at home, scoring goals for fun and playing attractive football whilst recruiting smartly and giving the players, staff and fans confidence.
With the return of grass, a new squad rebuild to the exciting talent already and a fantastic training facility there is a lot going for us to be excited about!
I’m already itching for next season!
YOU’LL NEVER TAKE THE KILLIE! 💙🤍
When Kilmarnock turned to Neil McCann to save their season, the reaction from supporters was mixed.
The former winger hadn't held a manager's role since 2018, but come May, those same fans didn't want the campaign to end.
@GabyMcKay tells the inside story of how McCann staved off the very real threat of relegation at Rugby Park.

@KERBYbook Lost 5-1 to Meole Brace & I scored a penalty past Hart as well! Buzzing when he made it at Shrewsbury & England but was delighted when Kilmarnock beat them with him in goal many years later 🤣

Just come across footage of a Shrewsbury game I attended on the 28/03/09
Salop drew the game 1-1 away at Wycombe, Killie legend Gary Holt scoring a 25 yard screamer…..This was his last goal in professional FT football.
2 years later I discover Ayrshire’s finest. Small world!
