Our Reception children decided they wanted to make a home for insects so made their own ‘bug hotel’! It even had a swimming pool extension for those insects that live around water. How thoughtful!

Say hello to Kitt, our very special forest school dog - she loves to join in the outdoor fun and learning with the children! She’ll often be seen in our forest school area being taken for a walk by the children of hiding snuggling down with them in a den they’ve built.

Jake has spent weeks trying to perfect this card structure. Resilience, determination and a steady hand has resulted in this success.

Today we say goodbye to our amazing Mrs Nelder who opened our nursery 24 years ago! Mrs Nelder is not just a nursery nurse at Saltersgate, she is part of the furniture and is one of the best teachers/friends you could wish for. Happy retirement - we will miss you so much 💗💗💗
