A human rights organization seeking to monitor human rights violations in Yemen & the Middle East and communicate them to decision-makers. @SAM4rights_Ar
The institutions that produced violations cannot be trusted to guard justice.
Real reform begins with changing the structure, not just replacing the names.
Those who do not reform their tools will repeat the same mistakes with new ones.

Journalist Hamoud Hazza’s disappearance in #Marib after being taken from a public event raises serious concerns of unlawful detention.
Authorities must disclose his fate, allow family and lawyer access, or release him immediately.

Justice for victims of torture does not end with their release; it begins with enabling them to restore their health, dignity, and lives. Rehabilitation is a right, not a favor. #InternationalDayInSupportOfVictimsOfTorture
Saddam Saeed was stopped while transporting gas cylinders. Houthi armed men seized him, his vehicle, the cargo, then took him to Al-Saleh detention facility, where he was beaten, suspended, tortured, and subjected to mock executions.

Those who order torture, tolerate it, or fail to investigate it, share equal responsibility.
Silence is not neutrality. It is complicity.
#InternationalDayInSupportOfVictimsOfTorture
Torture is not only beatings and electric shocks.
Humiliation, psychological abuse, and any treatment that attacks human dignity is torture too.
#InternationalDayInSupportOfVictimsOfTorture
Torture is not an interrogation tool. Not a security measure. Not an emergency exception.
It is an absolute crime, prohibited under international law with no exceptions whatsoever.
#InternationalDayAgainstTorture

#Transitionaljustice places the victim at the center of the process, not merely as a witness, but as an essential party in shaping the form and pathways of justice.
Every detainee has the right to access legal counsel and communicate with their family immediately upon detention. Prolonged solitary confinement, combined with the denial of contact with the detainee’s relatives, constitutes a clear violation of international #humanrights law.
🔴 742 violations against children in #Yemen in 2025, and the real toll is higher.
Sexual exploitation remains hidden by stigma and impunity. Urgent laws are needed to protect children and hold abusers accountable.
