Thanks so much to @UofGlasgow for letting my share my student journey and celebrate graduating! My 16 year old self dreamed of this and now it is a reality. There really is #nowrongpath and I would encourage other estranged students to find out what support is available to them
We're so proud of everyone who has graduated during such a difficult year.
Student @Sam__Gracee was forced to leave her family home at 16 years old but she was determined to go to university. Now she is graduating from UofG ♥️ Well done Sam!

Earlier this month I was named as one of the Young Women’s Movement 30 Under 30 list for 2025. It was such an honour to be recognised for my work along with such an inspiring group of young women. You can read my wee bio here

It was fantastic to support @GlenvaleAFC67 coaches and volunteers to access our Promise in Sport Training with three members joining our Promise Keeper Network ♥️
We’re recruiting a Chair & Trustee. Having been a trustee and Vice Chair for 5 years, it has been a fantastic opportunity to place lived experience at the centre. If you care about strategic leadership, governance, and making real change please get in touch if you’d like to chat.

We had a fantastic day attending @ThePromiseScot Learning event in Perth themed around People. We presented our Renfrewshire Promise Keeper network, sharing learning with colleagues from across Scotland on how we can get non-children’s services colleagues to consider The Promise
It's my day off. I'm on my way to Glasgow. But that didn't stop me from writing a reactionary op-ed for @BigIssue this morning after a Reform councillor referred to some children in care as “not just naughty children... but downright evil.”
Read my take below. ⬇️
I usually cringe when I see ads for foster carers.
They have a bad habit of focussing on the financial aspects, portray care experienced kids in a one-dimensional way, or worse.
Not this one.
It’s rare to see them done well. Really appreciated this

I'm in Cardiff next week with the @BigIssue Roadshow from 12-14 May, and I'm urgently looking to speak to any care leavers who were part of the Basic Income Pilot for an article.
If that's you, please DM me. I'm a care-experienced journalist. 👋
Our very own Thomas was recently on Paisley Radio talking all things Haus of Seisay!

We are delighted to share a 5 year report to mark our progress on The Promise in Renfrewshire. We recognise that we have a distance to travel, however we are celebrating the achievements to date. Two reports are available Renfrewshire’s Promise and Renfrewshire’s Pinky Promise.

With Mother’s Day approaching, for those of us who are Care Experienced, Estranged, Beareaved or have strained motherly relationships, I always appreciate emails like this one from SpaceNK. A quick way to opt out of emails is perfect and makes this time of year much easier♥️
In 2023, ScotCen was commissioned by the @RobertsonTrust to evaluate the impact of the Robertson Scholarship on Scholars and consider how it might help the Trust reduce the impact of poverty and trauma.
Speaking at @ThePromiseScot's reception at @ScotParl, Promise Minister @NatalieDon_ highlighted the importance of continuing to work together to deliver for Scotland's children and young people and Keep The Promise.
