The focus for everyone is to ensure that the nuclear industry remains global in outlook and continues to work towards the shared ambition to at least triple nuclear capacity by 2050.
It was fantastic to speak at the @CanadaNuclear conference 2025. Our panel explored the evolving landscape of government relations across North America and Europe — with big implications for Canada’s nuclear sector. ⬇️
What an honour to share the stage with some of the brightest minds in the energy sector. This momentum is just the beginning, and it was amazing to see so many industry leaders once again come together to push for a future where nuclear is a cornerstone of global sustainability.
Last week was nothing short of groundbreaking for nuclear energy at @CERAWeek.
@WorldNuclear had the incredible opportunity to engage with industry giants, connect with major energy users and off-takers, and spark vital conversations about the future of nuclear energy.
⏬
The message was clear: we need to triple nuclear energy by 2050 to provide the abundant, clean, reliable power that’s essential for meeting the surging energy demand of the future.
⏬
I also had the privilege of participating in fantastic panels like the Women Accelerating CleanTech, Next Generation Nuclear Technologies, and The Value of Nuclear Assets.
⏬
This monumental step made headlines globally and is a game-changer, building on pledges made by 31 countries and 14 of the world’s top banks to drive this mission forward.

These companies joined forces by becoming founding signatories of the Large Energy Users Pledge, alongside Allseas, @ORLEN_Synthos , @WeAreOxy and @Meta.

With the right leadership in place, we can achieve extraordinary things, so let's continue to support and grow our talent to shape the future of the global nuclear industry! #ICARE
This week, @WorldNuclear is proudly attending @CERAWeek, the largest and most influential energy event in the USA, in Houston, Texas. It was an honour to participate in a panel this morning on Women Leaders Accelerating Cleantech and Sustainability, alongside incredible leaders.
As we work toward the ambitious goal of tripling nuclear capacity by 2050, one thing is clear: achieving this vision requires a global workforce that is not only skilled but also diverse and inclusive. We need the talent of everyone to make it happen.
These programmes empower both women and men, equipping them with the tools needed to lead in the nuclear sector. At WNU, we are fostering the next generation of nuclear leaders by instilling the ICARE core values- Inclusion, Curiosity, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy.
During the panel, we discussed the importance of leadership development in building this diverse workforce in the nuclear industry, focusing on the critical role of programmes offered by World Nuclear University.
