What a beautiful day to be out with the Virkar Dynamic D drilling forage rape into some sprayed off Grassley.

The Virkar Dynamic D was doing a brilliant job of placing the seed with minimal amount of disturbance.

Been a busy week on the farm, getting ground ready for a mixture of AB 15 grass mix & grass for the AD Plant. The ground has required 3 passes with cultivators to create the perfect seed bed.

The Kockerling Trio is the perfect machine to work 5/6 inches to take out any compaction. We will now leave the soil to get a weed and seed chit, spray off and then drill directly into in the coming weeks.

Winter Wheat Harvest is underway!!!

The weather improved and we were finally able to make a start.

Variety was Gleam and it yielded surprisingly well considering the weather we’ve had for the last 2 months.

Before the 20 mm of rain over the weekend we were out with the Kockerling 6M Rebell disc machine. Working ground ready for Winter Barley to be planted in September.

Out last week with the New Kockerling Jockey 6M Tine Drill planting some Oil Seed Rape into ground that had been fallow for the past year.

Before it turned wet we set off another 6M Virkar Dynamic DC Drill. This machine is on 25cm row spacings with a split hopper and Metcalfe points.

Kockerling Speed Drill installed on a customer's Kockerling Vario 7.5m. The customer required a seeder that will be able to establish cover crops when carrying out cultivation. The Kockerling Speed Drill was the best option 400 litre hopper, 28 outlets hydraulic metering & ISOBUS

Across our 3 farms we have got 450 acres of Maize this year!! We will Sumo Trio around 8 inches deep, followed by a pass with one of our Kockerling Cultivators. Then when the soil is warm enough drill the Maize with “Our New This Season” 8 row Vaderstad Tempo drill.

Great run this past week with demonstration of the Virkar Dynamic DC. Everywhere it goes it amazes people of just how versatile this machine is.

Was a glorious start to the week which allowed us to drill some Spring Wheat direct into ground for a neighbouring farm. This field was around 120acres with many soil types from chalk to clay cap.The Virkar Dynamic DC performed very well and the seed was placed into perfect tilth
