ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has questioned the Federal Government’s claim that over ₦600 billion was disbursed to vulnerable households.

He said the figures do not add up, noting that 10 million households receiving ₦75,000 each would amount to ₦750 billion.

Atiku also questioned why the Presidency previously claimed 15 million households had benefited, while the Humanitarian Affairs Minister later said the figure was just over 10 million.

“Where did five million households go?” Atiku asked, demanding a verifiable payment trail and independent audit of the funds.
