I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address several significant concerns regarding my recent stay at Bellavita Villa, as these issues unfortunately overshadowed what was intended to be a memorable holiday for my family and me.
While your company philosophy promotes an inviting atmosphere, where guests arrive as visitors and leave as part of a family, our experience was starkly different. From the very beginning, our stay was marred by logistical challenges. Our promised VIP airport pick-up was two hours late, and we were ultimately transported in a budget mini-bus. This alone set a negative tone for our arrival. Thankfully, we were able to reach the villa without any significant issues, but the child seat provided for our one-year-old was merely a lap strap that posed serious safety concerns.
The condition of the road leading to Bellavita Villa is another point that requires immediate attention. The journey took approximately two hours, with one hour spent navigating what can only be described as “Pot Hole Hell.” The state of this road makes the villa feel isolated and inaccessible, especially for families with small children or those seeking a relaxing getaway. Additionally, having only one means of access puts guests in a concerning position when considering the potential for emergencies.
Upon arrival at the villa, we were confronted with its lack of proper maintenance. The property appeared run-down, and it was clear that it required urgent care and attention. The dining experience, advertised as luxurious, fell far short of our expectations; meals were served lukewarm or cold, diminishing our enjoyment. Moreover, the beach area was littered with plastic waste, and the view from the villa was obstructed by an active construction site, which detracted significantly from the idyllic setting promised in your marketing materials.
The pool situation was equally disheartening. I was particularly alarmed by the visible dirt and the fact that chlorine levels and water temperature were not adequately monitored. This made me unwilling to allow my young child to swim, which was a substantial disappointment given the attractive pool area featured on your website.
Our efforts to communicate these concerns to management were frustratingly met with indifference. The concierge service seemed virtually non-existent, and finding assistance to address our issues felt impossible. To make matters worse, should anyone wish to leave the villa for any reason, a taxi fare would cost a prohibitive $200, further compounding our feelings of isolation.
Your commitment to curating unforgettable experiences is commendable, but it is evident that there is a considerable gap between this philosophy and the reality we encountered. I genuinely hope you take this feedback to heart and consider actionable steps to improve the experience for future guests.
