@Iversoft Hmmm well it all depends on the hardware getting smaller and batteries lasting longer. I would guess we will see AR in helmets for space/air/terrain vehicles within 10 years. The tech from those will eventually go into sunglasses/prescription glasses later on.
@Iversoft What makes a touch screen or camera compelling? It's compelling because we have yet another tool to use and develop with. A lot of apps don't need this, but now the apps that can use AR are able too. To be honest though, I think AR has more potential with warble tech. (glasses?)
@WomeninTechChat I've never raged quit or been fired but I've seen people burn out and go on sick leave for about a year and then never come back. Always watch out for burnout.
@WomeninTechChat Talk to people. See if they have the time to assist you without looking completely stressed out. See if the company/group does any fun activities. If everyone is stressed and too busy to have even a potluck once in a blue moon, then maybe look for a new job.
@WomeninTechChat I like to go outside and walk. I find it helps clear my head and get me ready for the second half of my day. As I walk I like to listen to audio books or music to get my mind off of work.
