I am grateful for Peter Obi's candidacy, regardless of the outcome, because it may be giving Coconut Head/Soro Soke Generation the practical political apprenticeship they need to overthrow Establishment parties.
Seth Godin gave a masterclass on how to build an unforgettable brand in the age of AI:
1. Marketing is not about spend. It is about creating the conditions for other people to eagerly spread your idea.
2. Authenticity is overrated. What customers actually want is consistency. Show up the same way every single time and that is worth more than any Super Bowl ad.
3. Everything your company does is a marketing decision. How you answer the phone. What you charge. How you design things. Marketing is not a department. It is everything.
4. Trust is simple. Make a promise. Keep it. Especially when it is hard.
5. Successful brands are built with your customers talking about you. Not you talking about you.
6. A brand is not a logo. A brand is a promise. Nike has a brand. Hyatt has a logo. One of them you know exactly what to expect. The other you do not.
7. You are measuring the wrong things. Follower counts. Stock price. Open rates. False proxies will take your business in the wrong direction faster than anything else.
8. Social media followers mean nothing. Godin has 400,000 Instagram followers and says if he posts about a new book maybe 12 people buy it. The number is a distraction.
9. Stop trying to be famous. The goal is not to get more famous. The goal is to get less famous and more trusted.
10. Average marketing reaches average people. Average people will not buy your product. You need the people who will talk about you, challenge you, and eagerly pay more for better.
11. When you pick your customers you pick your future. Stop trying to reach everyone. Start trying to deeply serve someone specific.
12. Better beats louder every time. One guy running a wine email list with 130,000 subscribers does $30 million a year in revenue. No ads. No social media hustle. Just consistently better.
13. The real opportunity with AI is not making things cheaper. It is making things better. The businesses that use AI to deepen relationships will win. The ones using it to cut costs will race to the bottom.
14. Your job is not to do your job. Your job is to solve problems for other people and make things better by making better things. Everything else is just noise.
15. When AI becomes the buyer it will always choose the cheapest option. If your entire business strategy is being the cheapest, AI will destroy you. The only protection is being worth it in ways that cannot be easily measured.
16. The next level of marketing is permission at a depth nobody has achieved before. The brand that knows your tools, your projects, your needs, and shows up to help without being asked will be impossible to replace.
17. Most businesses will use AI to spam more people faster. The businesses that win will use AI to serve fewer people better. That gap is the biggest opportunity in marketing right now.
18. You have a squadron of summer interns available for twenty dollars a month. They are not that good but they are very eager. The businesses learning to be good bosses of AI right now will have an enormous advantage over everyone waiting to figure it out later.
19. The question every business should be asking is not how do I get more attention. It is how do I become the kind of business that people would genuinely miss if it disappeared tomorrow. That answer is your entire marketing strategy.

34 days. Still no answers.
Thirty-four days in captivity. Children, teachers, and families are still waiting for freedom, while loved ones wait for news.
Every day in captivity is one day too many. Where are they?

People who live in Lagos and Abuja all their lives do not understand Nigeria
I have seen bad governance affect people a lot in real time
Here is an example
If you used to travel by road from Abuja to Calabar or Uyo from 2006 - 2012, you will know that the Gboko-Ogoja route was the best route
And you will know that we used to always stop at Ogoja to eat. And there is this main fuel station we stopped. But there's one station before that main one where the food was better and cheaper
The owner is a couple, the man's name is Joshua. They enjoyed mad traffic and sold out 24/7.
I used to direct buses and customers to his shop anytime I arrive there and he will give me food for free with fresh palm wine
Ogoja was booming with business. The money made there became so huge that they started experiencing robberies of mad intensity. There was money there.
At some point I began nursing a dream of buying land or leasing land there for highway food business.
Guess what happened
Under GEJ, the roads from Bekwara began to go bad, no attention.
Under Buhari the roads died and the worst was now the roads from Ogoja to Ikom. You can stay on the road for days.
Armed Robberies went up. Every night at some point.
Drivers stopped passing there. All the businesses went down. Joshua called me some years back asking me to help him with an opportunity in Abuja
That's bad governance and its effects..
THIS IS THE LOCATION, WHERE WE STARTED WORK ON 3 HECTARES OF GINGER , 3 HECTARES OF TURMERIC AND 27 HECTARES OF HYV MORINGA OLIFERA PROJECTS IN OHAJI, IMO STATE
This is total wickedness and deliberate provocation.....
Please can someone explain to me, for the love of God and humanity, why and what is so difficult in the Imo State Governor or any Governor or even the FGN in placing a total ban and enforcing the ban on this kind of provocative open grazing of cows/goats open grazing other people"s land and properties ???
Even the workers are too scared to approach or confront them to move away ...
You see why we need urgently the total Restructuring of Nigeria and establishment of fully trained and well armed farm rangers in EACH OF THE 8,809 Ward in Nigeria
Is this how to attract and support investments and diversification of the real sectors of Nigeria?
This madness must stop

This is now their 33rd night in the jungle as captives of terrorists!! 33 nights!!! Toddlers!!! Children!! Innocent teachers who just went to school! Ah!! 😭😭😭
For humanity sake. Help save this young child battling with Kidney disease. It won't cost a thing for you to repost it until he gets the needed help.
Show a little kindness!
Today is exactly one month since Borno & Oyo State schoolchildren were kidnapped! ONE WHOLE MONTH, & our children are not back!
They are eighty-one in number, including seven teachers. We lost a teacher in a beheading.
From public outcry to street protests. Then we move on. Please we shouldn’t forget them.
It’s the rainy season in Nigeria, they must be cold. There are mosquitoes, their immune system is not that strong. Then there is acute malnutrition otherwise called kwashiorkor.
There are waterborne diseases as well.
Diarrhea, malaria, acute malnutrition, etc. The children are dealing with all of these elements. Then there is the human factor — trauma in the form of constant trepidation. My paranoia is justified! They risk becoming child brides. Child marriage is not a thing to sweep under the rug.
Who is going to give them the closure they so desperately need? Closure is a psychological support to move on & achieve your life dreams.
I’m sure they have a bucket list, goals or things they want to achieve during their lifetime. I’m sure we have engineers, doctors, teachers, nurses, pilots, architects, etc among them.
This is their formative years. They shouldn’t miss out on a sheltered life; the promise of a better tomorrow. We shouldn’t forget them!
They stay in the bush so that politicians can soirée & party harder. Nigeria is the father that abandoned his children. Please remember them today & say a prayer for them. They remind us that Nigeria is a country of particular concern.
This is heartbreaking. This is solidarity. Children are praying for their friends to be rescued. A mother who is a teacher is crying for help. The significance of “May 15” is not lost on us.
They are our children dealing with adult problems. They shouldn’t become part of an ongoing statistics. I am only pleading.
At this point? Your silence will fail the children. PLEASE LEND YOUR VOICE TO THIS. 💔🙏
YOU CAN RUN CLAUDE CODE FOR $3/MONTH, AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT.
A developer got a $170 claude code bill in 10 days, and someone in the comments ended his subscription forever.
He bought a Mac mini m4 base ($599). installed ollama.
pulled qwen 3.6 14b. ran three commands. pointed Claude's code at localhost instead of anthropic's servers.
no api costs. no data is leaving his machine. no subscriptions. just a silent 5-inch square box pulling 10-20 watts under his desk.
Here is what the full stack looks like running on one box:
→ Claude's code connected to Ollama
→ open webui running on localhost: 3000
→ openclaw daemon running on Telegram
→ deepseek r1 14b handling reasoning and math, qwen 3.6 14b handling code, gemma 4 4b handling quick tasks
Here is what the honest math actually writes:
"before: 5 subscriptions. $459/month. data leaving your machine on every request."
"after: $599 once. $3/month in electricity. the team lives by dinner. never sleeps. never quits. never sends your code to someone else's server."
"total saved year one: $5,232."
if you want consistent output without figuring out the prompt engineering yourself, someone already reverse-engineered the entire setup, documented every command, and packaged it at https://t.co/XHWbHeMsg7 for $99 one-time.
no subscription. no fluff. just the exact system that makes this stack work out of the box.
From what I have observed, this is the cleanest local AI setup I have seen in the past year: $599 in, $5,232 saved, and between them three commands and a box that fits in a backpack.
Their names and ages tells our shame.
