Apm boys are trying to spin the narrative as per who was the commissioner of finance when Oyo state was in financial crisis,note that Bimbo served as the deputy chief of staff for the govt during the first tenure and as the finance commissioner during the second tenure.
It is also important to remember that the non payment of staffs started in 2015 which he was already in the finance team of the state,so trying to shift the narrative now is not only lazy but mischievous.
The bigger debate here is you all questioning the commissioners of other states and telling people that those names are not worthy of elective positions but your own Bimbo who as well served for good 8yrs should not share same fate,Why not let us hold the meaningful conversations like you all have been requesting for with the person campaigning for an elective position at the moment.
The governor of the state confirmed in 2019 that the finances of the states was in shambles,who should we ask questions??? We should skip Bimbo and go to his predecessors?? And if you all want to be stupid as usual,we will continue to ask a question one of you asked those in osun( If he truly have principle and he is upright,he won’t take appointment under such government and person)

Here are the facts:

In July 2016, when Bimbo Adekanmbi was Commissioner for Finance and Budget, the Ajimobi government publicly acknowledged a N29b wage deficit and five months of salary arrears.

In November 2016, the government also announced a 50% cut in the salaries and arrears of political appointees as part of measures to manage the state's financial difficulties.

So, how exactly does someone become the hero of the financial crisis when he was part of the government managing the state's finances during that crisis?
