CLASSIFICATION: CONFIDENTIAL
INTELLIGENCE REPORT
Report No: INTEL-PAK-2026-0529
Date: 29 May 2026
Subject: Alleged Activities, Treason and Foreign Affiliations of Adil Raja
Reference: Open-source and intelligence reporting.
1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Adil Raja, formerly associated with Pakistan’s military, is alleged to have engaged in acts of treason, shared sensitive operational information with foreign entities, evaded official detention, and conducted anti-state propaganda from the United Kingdom. Sources claim he established links with foreign intelligence agencies, received funding for hostile information operations, and supported groups designated as anti-state or militant. All details below reflect allegations and uncorroborated reporting; independent verification is ongoing.
2. BACKGROUND
The allegations against Adil Raja originate from his deployment during military operations in Waziristan. During this period, he is reported to have accessed sensitive operational intelligence. Sources allege he shared classified information with external parties and developed connections with two foreign intelligence services: India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) and Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS). These actions are framed as violations of military regulations and national security laws.
3. DETECTION AND EVASION OF DETENTION
• Pakistan’s Intelligence Bureau (IB) first identified suspicious patterns in his activities and movements, and shared findings with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
• When authorities moved to take him into custody to face court-martial proceedings, Raja evaded apprehension and fled to the United Kingdom.
• His relocation was facilitated by his spouse’s status as a British citizen, allowing him to secure residence and avoid extradition or repatriation.
4. ALLEGED ACTIVITIES IN EXILE
Since relocating to the UK, multiple reports claim Raja has:
• Been motivated by purported resentment toward the Pakistan Army, driving a campaign of public criticism and disinformation.
• Received financial compensation and direction from foreign intelligence agencies, including RAW (India),GDI (Afghanistan), Mossad (Israel) and reportedly the UK’s MI6, to produce and disseminate anti-Pakistan and anti-military propaganda.
• Publicly expressed support for groups classified as hostile or militant, including the Afghan Taliban, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). This support is cited as evidence of alignment with elements hostile to Pakistan’s state and security.
• Operates in a similar profile and manner to other exiled figures accused of anti-state activity, such as Haider Mehdi.
5. ASSESSMENT
Based on the available allegations and reporting:
• Adil Raja is identified as a person of interest on charges of treason, breach of military discipline, and unauthorized contact with foreign agencies.
• His continued presence in the UK allows him to operate outside Pakistan’s legal jurisdiction, limiting immediate accountability.
• His information operations are assessed to be intended to undermine public confidence in Pakistan’s military and state institutions, and to support foreign or anti-state interests.
.
6.CONCLUSION
Adil Raja is the subject of serious allegations involving treason, evasion of military justice, and engagement in foreign-backed propaganda activities. While the allegations are significant, they remain unproven; this assessment is subject to revision as further evidence is obtained and verified.

At a time of growing emphasis on supply-chain resilience and route diversification, Pakistan’s recent transshipment incentives reflect a broader effort to strengthen the efficiency and competitiveness of its maritime sector.
In this context, Gwadar Port merits consideration as a complementary addition to the regional logistics landscape. Situated on the Arabian Sea with direct access to international sea lanes, Gwadar can contribute to greater connectivity, redundancy, and continuity in trade and energy flows, particularly during periods of disruption affecting established routes.
Its significance lies not in displacing existing hubs, but in expanding the range of available options for commercial stakeholders. As regional and global trade networks evolve, additional infrastructure that enhances flexibility and reduces dependence on single transit corridors can serve the shared interest of stability, predictability, and uninterrupted commerce.
Viewed in this light, Gwadar represents an opportunity to support a more balanced and resilient maritime architecture across South Asia, the Middle East, and the wider Indian Ocean region. Its long-term value will rest on how effectively it contributes to practical cooperation, commercial efficiency, and broader regional connectivity.

Farah Jan’s opinion piece titled “Iran and the Indispensable Broker: How Pakistan Outmaneuvers India on the World Stage does not elaborate on things as depicted in the title. In other words, her central argument strays far from the theme of her piece.
She fails to elaborate on how and why Pakistan has remained indispensable throughout its history, given its geopolitical and geostrategic positions, which it has utilized to the best of its vital security and economic interests. If it were not the case, the world powers would not be interested in this part of the world.
Not only the US but also all competing powers, both regional and global, are interested in Pakistan because of its geoeconomic and geostrategic value.
Value is what matters.
There is no harm in playing in international systems by maintaining geoeconomic, geopolitical, and geostrategic relations with all major powers, including regional players. India does it, and Pakistan must do as well. In fact, every country does it, as reflected by the dictum of international relations.
Why does the article not elaborate on India’s growing strategic partnerships with almost all the leading players in the system, including the US, Russia, and Israel? Is this not threatening Pakistan and China? Is it not undermining the broader strategic stability of South Asia? How can strategic balance and broader, sustainable peace and stability be restored? These rudimentary questions are not critically examined in this piece for obvious reasons.
Yes, India under Hindutva leadership is an arch strategic rival to both China and Pakistan as it tries to isolate Pakistan and contain China by cashing out the growing strategic partnership with other powers. The opinion piece does not elaborate on how and why India orchestrated a false flag operation under the dangerous pretext of terrorism by opting for preventive strikes against a credible nuclear Pakistan without realizing the consequences of such episodes.
It does not explain how India’s conventional and strategic force development in South Asia has made India the fastest-growing nuclear-weapon state, providing India with dangerous hubris for escalation, dominance, prestige, and power projection.
It highlights the nuclear dynamics between the Pak-Saudi defense agreement that does not exist. The remarks on this imperative are biased with no academic justification.
International politics is driven not by the whims and will of states, but by the vital security interests of each player in the system, which the piece does not elaborate on.
Pakistan’s role in the international system has become indispensable, central, and significant, with strategic value that matters. Being a responsible nuclear-weapon state, with credible nuclear forces supported by improving conventional capability and a developing economy, Pakistan understands what its objectives are both at the regional and global levels. It is in the direction, moving forward. Following Full-spectrum deterrence under the ambit of credible minimum deterrence, Pakistan’s nuclear weapons program is India-centric, which Farah’s piece misses the context.
Thus, Farah’s opinion piece is more emotional and less rational, more verbose, less academic, and more biased and less balanced, making it unacceptable to a broader audience.

To those who take Iran lightly, take note of this essential information.
Whenever news breaks that Iran has hacked a high-tech American company or made their most advanced surveillance drone, the Triton, vanish... your first reaction is usually: "China must be supporting them" or "Russia must be helping"... right?
Well, listen up.
Iran ranks 4th in the world with an average IQ score of 104.80, while the United States ranks 18th with a score of 101.04. Iran has been a nation of intellectuals since the beginning, and it remains so today.
Iran holds the 2nd rank globally in STEM graduate density—far ahead of the US, China, Germany, and India.
STEM stands for Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
This means that for every 100,000 people, Iran produces the second-highest number of specialists in the world in these fields. Furthermore, a significant number of students from Iran pursue advanced higher education.
Iran possesses some of the world's best engineers and has the oil wealth to back them. With this, they have built a formidable defense infrastructure. This is why they possess highly advanced missiles and the skilled personnel to operate them.
Now, consider the news that China is about to deliver its newest, most advanced defense system to Iran. So, for those who think Iran is intimidated by America, please read the facts instead of falling for media chatter. #Kaalchakra
