Clare joined Samba Fogo in 2015. Prior to life in SLC she danced professionally in NYC, with gigs ranging from the Metropolitan Opera ballet corps to work-out video promotion on QVC.

Meet the Artists for Fogo Vivo - Living Flame: Jorge Alabe, Featured Guest Artist.
Master drummer Jorge Alabê grew up in Rio immersed in the rich musical culture of Brazil, becoming a master in samba percussion as well as in the Afro-Brazilian religious tradition of candomblé.
