Today @ work, around 3:21pm, I stepped out to the lobby, if you're familiar with the secretariat building in Abuja, it's about 11 floors, so the view is massive, I was at the top floor when I heard gunshots outside. So I looked through the window & saw some vendors

When Peter Obi is declared President, the first place to feel the impact will not be Aso Rock.
It will be Nigeria’s airports.

The departure halls will become unusually busy. Immigration counters will be flooded. Private aviation terminals will witness an unusual surge in activity as politicians, politically exposed persons, their associates, contractors, and beneficiaries of the old order scramble to put distance between themselves and the country they once treated as their personal estate.

Some will call it a family vacation. Others will describe it as a business trip. Many will insist it was planned months in advance. But the timing will tell its own story.

Passport offices will struggle to keep up with demand. Visa application centres will be packed. Immigration lawyers will suddenly become some of the busiest professionals in the country. Luxury homes will quietly enter the market. Properties will be sold below their true value simply because speed will matter more than profit. Ownership of companies will begin changing overnight. Shares will be transferred. Assets will be moved. Wealth will start flowing into foreign accounts and offshore jurisdictions. Every transaction will be disguised as ordinary business, but everyone will know what is happening.

Private jets will become symbols of panic.

Aircraft that once flew only for leisure and political meetings will begin making repeated international trips. Airports that normally serve a handful of executive flights each day will witness an unusual increase in departures. Charter companies will struggle to satisfy demand.

Entire families will relocate.

Children will suddenly gain admission into foreign schools. Spouses will establish new homes abroad. Expensive apartments will be rented in London, Dubai, Canada, and elsewhere. Foreign residency will become the new insurance policy.

Professional advisers will barely have time to breathe.

Lawyers will draft emergency agreements. Accountants will restructure holdings. Tax experts will reorganize wealth. International consultants will process residency applications around the clock. Everyone will be working toward one objective: creating an escape route.

The phrase will spread across the country.
