Santa Clara forward Elijah Mahi plans to return to the Broncos for his fifth season, sources told ESPN. Eligible under the Colorado class-action decision.

Mahi averaged 14.1 PPG and 4.7 RPG last season, earning first-team All-WCC honors and going to the NCAA Tournament.

Folarin Balogun will be available to play the USMNT’s round of 16 match against Belgium with his one-game red-card ban suspended.

The 25-year-old received a straight red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Multiple FIFA officials told The Athletic after the game that a team is not able to appeal against a red card or the subsequent suspension.

However, Balogun is set to be available to face Rudi Garcia’s side as his suspension has been suspended.

Early in my junior year at Santa Clara on November 11, 2016 (Herb Sendek’s debut as the Broncos Head Coach vs Northern Arizona shown in that first picture in a nearly empty Leavey Center), we brought back the SCU broadcast program on the @SantaClaraUniv student radio station, KSCU 103.3 FM

Today in St. Louis, a decade later, KSCU gets set to call Santa Clara’s 1st NCAA Tournament Game in 30 years as the Broncos face Kentucky🔥

Couldn’t be prouder of how far the program has come thanks to the so many incredible people that have been involved including the Sports Directors leading the charge over the years including my guys @smclaughlinCFB, @Thomasdunn24 & current senior, Sam Canales who will call the game today w/ Nathan Holan🙌

Being in Vegas with the crew last week was surreal but this was always the goal. For the Broncos to get back to the Big Dance with KSCU there to call the action.

10 years ago, we launched the Santa Clara student radio broadcast program at KSCU. My 1st year calling games was Herb Sendek’s 1st season as the Broncos Head Coach.

A decade later, 4 generations of KSCU Sports Directors are in Vegas as SCU plays in its 1st WCC Title Game since 2007 & regardless of the result, the Broncos will be Dancing for the 1st time in 30 years🔥

To say this is a full circle moment is a major understatement🙌

What @smclaughlinCFB @Thomasdunn24 & current Sports Director, Sam Canales, have done to continue the legacy of the program at KSCU is remarkable🫡
