A good way to look at is if the person on the other team was on my team I’d be cheering for them. So why just because they have a different jersey on should I demean them? They are still the same person. Cheer for your team and call it a day
@JettyDJ@NoLayingUp Stuff like that shouldn’t be said in any athletic environment. Golf, football, basketball, whatever the sport is. It never needs to get personal imo.
I’ve said it before (and it may not happen) but retaining is a bad rule. A tie isn’t a win. This is my feeling regardless of the team you are pulling for #RyderCup2025
@Mattatthebank I would argue neither side would want that. It is such a unique event and usually really hard to win on the road. One side could go a decade without hosting.
