@Section524 @spbluejays Did you see how Bateman took on the wall? That felt like a Varshow-esque moment. 💪 (But yeah, he certainly did!)

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@_Jays4Days @MitchBannon I have an old(er) car. It has some issues, but when it's on, it's a lot of fun, kinda like Max. It's a feel good story. If Max does another team friendly deal, I won't say it's a no brainer, but it could be.

Having a bad ass HOF player coach around. Worth the $$$

@rwsci18 @MitchBannon Rogers Centre capacity was reduced by 20% in 2023.
Blue Jays average attendance the last four years INCLUDING the 2025 run was 15% less than 2026.
Next year STH will dip by no less than 25%.
New resale rules will influence re-sales.
Needed or not, it will be a test.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@rwsci18 @MitchBannon Next year's numbers will be the true test.
No renovations
No post World Series glow.
No 50th.
Just. Baseball.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@_Jays4Days @MitchBannon All. Time. Great.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@abhshkndl @grandePortugal1 @KeeganMatheson One game behind who?
Looks like Jays are 2 behind CLE and 0.5 behind TEX.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

With Blue Jays up by 5 on Boston, can Varland please have another night off?

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@BlakeMurphyODC @shieko16 Would there need to be a new rule written for that?
If the inning is waived down, and an appeal or decisions re-open a call on the field, managers THEN get 15 seconds to challenge?

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@CarloColaiacovo This. Was. The. Play. To ignite the season.

The Game 5 ALDS 2015 is the only other "ruling / shenanigans" I remember taking this long. When the dust with the umps settled, the 2015 Jays took care of business.
Vladdy came up knodding his head, and...

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@raptor10340 @JoshuaHowsam He was in the MLB when this rule was invented.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@TimKellySports I heard the numbers but on TV it literally looked like they were playing the Nationals. Looked empty after the 7th

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@OrcaBaseball @BlueJaysFunk I feel last year was "proof" for those who needed it of how the FO set up the team, how coaching prepped the team and how the bench managed the team. But...
...... 🤦‍♂️

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@JohnnyGiunta_ Kept Jays in the game, then kinda cost them the game 😔. Baseball be like that

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@CunninghamJordy Yup. 😔 Sad for everyone involved

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@midpointTO @thepond99 @BlueJaysDad Vladdy, if the price was right that's a lot of cash off the books.
Giants are 309 feet to the wall...

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@torontoral69 @RitaQ62 Yesterday. Sept 24, anybody on 3 days straight would have likely been better than the rookie.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@BeastMode__80 @BlueJays It was that or a stars and stripes chest protector today.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@KeeganMatheson Babe is back. 🤞

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@RickWolf1 The one where humans have more than one offspring that are both good at the same thing?

Other fun facts: They're separated a year more than the Rogers twins and got to play against each other in AA in 2022.

[Sam Dumcum @SamDumcum]

@bythelake6 @bagsbyclairo1 Yup. Not a bad play TBH. Especially since they're playing in Seattle. Doubt thr Mets will wear a Canada patch on July 1, but the Red Sox have.
