Too much talk about the sexes here is rigid and absolute and therefore obscures as much as it illuminates.

Rather than " men are A and women are B dichotomies" it's more helpful to realize most people possess both qualities A and B.

That doesn't mean there are no sex differences.

It may be that in most men quality A is dominant and in most women quality B is dominant.
