A general update is being prepared by Verasity’s senior team. Marketing, social media contributors, and community moderators cannot issue updates without accurate information and explicit authorisation from Verasity.
While community frustration is recognised, threats, accusations, and slander are unacceptable and place unnecessary pressure on team members who manage official channels but have no decision-making authority over company operations.
Verasity is also escalating serious cases by reporting accounts and defamatory accusations against team members to local law enforcement and legal authorities.
🔥 THREAD: The Verasity (VRA) Problem Nobody Wants To Talk About 🔥
For everyone wondering what’s really going on with $VRA, PoV, supply, and the constant moving of goalposts here’s the full breakdown with facts, not feelings.
If this doesn’t open a few eyes, nothing will.
👇🧵
1️⃣ PoV Was Originally Sold as “Non-Tradable”
For YEARS, the messaging was crystal clear:
•PoV tokens were marker tokens
•Used internally for ad-fraud verification
•Not part of circulating supply
•Would never be traded, sold, or put on exchanges
•And wouldn’t dilute VRA holders
This wasn’t one comment it was a repeated narrative across FAQs, documents, AMAs, and community responses.
Investors bought VRA on that understanding.
2️⃣ Fast forward and suddenly PoV can be sold
Without fanfare
Without a major announcement
And without acknowledging the contradiction
The language was slowly changed.
Now the official wording says:
•PoV may be traded at discretion
•PoV may enter circulating supply
•PoV may be inflationary
•And PoV may impact VRA price
That’s a complete 180° from the original pitch.
And the new disclaimers basically say:
“Nothing we said before was binding anyway.”
3️⃣ And the supply? Yeah that changed too.
Originally:
•Max supply: 10B
•Circulating: 10B-ish
Then PoV gets introduced
Then “dual token system”
Then “ecosystem separation”
And now the numbers thrown around are:
•93B+
•100B+
•200B max ecosystem supply
Depending on which doc, AMA, or chart you read.
So much for a “fixed” supply.
4️⃣ The community didn’t imagine this the docs WERE changed.
People have screenshots, archives, and saved PDFs.
Old wording vs new wording is right there in black and white.
This is not “FUD.”
It’s literally documented history.
5️⃣ Is this illegal? That’s the debate.
Legally?
Crypto projects bury themselves in disclaimers from day one:
•“Forward looking statements.”
•“Not financial advice.”
•“Not legally binding.”
•“May change at any time.”
So trying to sue them is like trying to fight smoke.
But ethically?
🔴 Changing token promises
🔴 Changing supply
🔴 Changing PoV rules
🔴 Deleting old Medium posts
🔴 Not communicating clearly
🔴 And letting holders eat the cost
…is absolutely horrible investor treatment.
Whether regulators care is another story.
6️⃣ The real issue isn’t legal. It’s trust.
Crypto projects rise and fall on credibility.
And VRA has:
•Moved goalposts
•Rewritten tokenomics mid-game
•Shifted PoV rules
•Updated disclaimers to cover themselves
•Gone mostly silent publicly
•And left holders confused, frustrated, and diluted
If you were building a case study on how to destroy community trust, this would be it.
7️⃣ Holders deserve real answers.
Not silence.
Not vague tweets.
Not ecosystem expansion jargon.
Not last-minute edits to whitepapers.
Just straight:
•What is PoV (VRA) now?
•Will PoV be sold?
•What supply is real?
•What dilution is possible?
•Why were original promises changed?
•And what EXACTLY should investors expect?
Until those questions are answered clearly, the uncertainty will remain and so will the pressure on the token.
8️⃣ Final thought
You can love a project and still call out inconsistencies.
You can hold a bag and still demand transparency.
VRA doesn’t need hype.
VRA doesn’t need moonboys.
It needs clarity, consistency, and honesty about tokenomics and PoV.
The community isn’t asking for miracles just the truth.
