What a shameful advert! Totally undervaluing nursing. This is not a career without thought or because your 1st choice hasn’t worked. We need more people to come into nursing yes, but because you want to join a dynamic, exciting, CHALLENGING and ACADEMIC career! ☹️
An amazing example of collaboration today as clinical staff start their first day of fast track training to get them ‘covid-19’ ready. Arranged in partnership with @SurreyHeartland, @CSHSurrey, @1stchatter and the @UniOfSurrey - great teamwork!
We’ve had confirmation from @DHSCgovuk that students undertaking clinical healthcare courses are contributing to the national COVID-19 response and that these students are able to self-identify as key workers.
Great day celebrating the official opening of the Kate Granger Building today. A particularly inspirational talk from Chris Pointon was a highlight. Proud to be associated with Kate and the #hellomynameis campaign 🍾
Today HRH The Countess of Wessex officially opened the Kate Granger Building, home to our School of Health Sciences. Named after Kate Granger MBE, who spearheaded the #hellomynameis campaign, the school is at the forefront of educating the next generation of health professionals.
@NHSBSA_LSF Thanks for the quick response Nikki, although this doesnt answer my question - I was asking if the Learning Support Fund criteria is going to be reviewed to enable Paramedics to reclaim placement expenses etc.
@NHSBSA_LSF with the announcement that Paramedic students will be eligible for the new government bursary/grant, are there plans for the LSF criteria to be reviewed to allow Paramedic students access to this funding also? #paramedic
https://t.co/7VDoTWKlkT the Kate Granger Building started as a sketch on a piece of tracing paper... a few years later now and it’s thriving. A rather special place to work
