Oh perfect. Trump drops his $10 billion IRS lawsuit so the administration can set up a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund to "compensate" his cronies for the terrible injustice of facing legitimate consequences during the Biden years.

Because nothing says "restoring justice" like raiding the Treasury to pay off the people who got caught, the same guy who spent years screaming about "weaponized government" is now weaponizing it to write checks to his buddies who claim they were "harmed" by actually being investigated for their actions.

Taxpayers get the bill. His inner circle gets the payout. And we're all supposed to pretend this isn't the most obvious grift in American politics.
