Today I presented the Governor’s Medal of Courage to Jack Wilson.
He’s the hero who risked his life to save the lives of others by stopping a gunman in a deadly shooting at a church near Fort Worth.
It’s the highest award given to civilians in Texas.

Thanks to the mightiest military in the history of the world we have the freedom to enjoy Christmas.
May it forever remain that way.
I’m thankful to be in remission! I’m thankful that both my soldier siblings came home from deployment in time for the holidays!!!! And I’m grateful for football 🏈 #CowboysNation
