Intermittent audio lag on Fedora 44 (Intel Meteor Lake). Looked like a Chrome/YouTube issue.

Breakthrough was one command:
speaker-test -t sine -f 440 -c 2

Choppy tone -> bypasses browser+network -> it's BELOW the app.

Fix: legacy HDA via snd-intel-dspcfg.dsp_driver=1

Built my first custom hook in IBM Bob IDE.

Reactive: Linux host perf issues → diagnosed + fixed with Bob.
Preventive: automated the system health check via a hook.
