Although we could have won gold—which was a little bit of a disappointment—I have a lot of confidence in our shooters, and they will undoubtedly bring home gold medals. However, I am thrilled that our cricket team won the gold medal. I was part of the coordination committee in Japan organizing this meet, and I personally requested them to include both men's and women's cricket here. I really wanted to see them win gold, so I am very happy to be here and see them achieve it... In MMA as well, we won the bronze; she played and performed well, though she lost on a technicality..."

She adds, "I am happy. I am pleased with the start, but we must remain patient. We will get gold medals, so don't worry or be in a hurry..."
