@VorisekCaroline @michellemosier I agree 100%. I think all too often we forget how much God forgives us and how little we forgive others. It is a good reminder that God is always willing to forgive us and we should be the same way toward those around us.

@michellemosier #drmtheo111 #qotw13 I think my favorite parable was the one about the marriage feast. It reminded me that God will lift up the poor and lowly, while humbling the mighty. It also reminded me that God will act through day-to-day people, and use them to spread His word.

@michellemosier I think the section of Matthew that stood out the most was Matt. 10. Jesus told his newly appointed Apostles to sacrifice their belongings and proclaim the Gospel. It reminded me that having the best things, or anything at all, isn't what mattered to Jesus. #drmtheo111 #qotw12

@armstrongplee @michellemosier I agree. Like Patrick said, an independent woman was very rare for that time, so to have that kind of courage and tenacity in that time period is extremely influential.

@niahchiversxu @michellemosier I agree. The Timnite woman was also very interesting to learn about this week. She faced an extremely hard decision, and yet she powered through and was a better person because of it. She was inspiring and impressive.

@michellemosier I found Delilah to be the most interesting. She was determined to get what she wanted by any means necessary. I've also heard this story before, so it was fun/interesting to go further in detail with it.

@roan_regnier @michellemosier I agree with Roan. I've also never heard the mutuality/hierarchy agreements before. It's always just been women help men and that was the end of it. I was very pleasantly surprised with the way we learned about this very fundamental story.

@michellemosier I was most interested by Leah. It's almost like she was thought about after the fact. Jacob was given many children by Leah, none of her children were his favorite. I think Leah (and women in general were) was treated like a game to the men.

@Maxwendel14 @michellemosier This is important - we were put here to take care of what God gave us. Just because God gave us dominion over the plants and animals does not mean that God gave us dominion over other humans. That was not God's intent.

@KeiganMiller1 @michellemosier I agree. I was always taught that Eve went to go find Adam afterwards to tell him what happened, but after learning more about it, I found out that this was not the case.

@michellemosier I think the most important thing, and something we can all use is that Eve was made to help and support Adam not to be subject to his "commands." This is very eye-opening especially in today's world where men and women are not treated equally. #drmtheo111 #qotw8
