@ashortvideo 3. No, there are only a few helicopters that are certified for night operations and those are all in California.
4. All of these aircraft are stationed throughout the US during the summer. They were brought in from Phoenix and Casper air bases.

1. As their hours run out yes they will switch pilots but that is pretty rare.
2. At tanker airbases they have large tanks where the powder retardant is mixed with water and it is pumped into the aircraft just like fuel.
