@Gav_RN @kieran_robinson Mate I agree. In my experience in the area I work most GP’s will have a designated GP that will deal with ambulances on that day. All services are extremely stretched and have to priorities. If a GP delayed calling me back for a 1yo with ?meningism then so be it.

@SWAAHBUNISON Don’t you think a 92 yom should be allowed an ambulance. Yes cat1 is stupid! Yes clinical desk should have carried out a remote triage. However elderly patients often live alone, they are vulnerable and probably scared. I think this is a poor example of the issue we face.
