It’s always been an offensive issue in the postseason for the Phils - Not pitching
PHI Postseason ERA
‘25: 2.87
‘24: 5.87
‘23: 2.20
‘22: 3.24
PHI Postseason OPS
‘25: .657
‘24: .597
‘23: .821

‘24 was bad, but it’s always been the bats falling short. Not pitching
There is no fixing this offense imo just go and get Skubal and we have the best pitching staff of all time. 3 Cy Youngs plus an unstoppable pen no one is stopping us in the offs
Everyone saying our rotation would be unstoppable in the postseason - I don’t disagree but, have you forgotten already?

Yeah ‘24 was bad, but it’s the offense that has continued to gas out in the postseason. See below
Buster Olney on Tarik Skubal:
“If he is traded, pay attention to some of the usual suspects, teams like the Dodgers, like the Phillies. I think the San Diego Padres will be an interesting team to watch…”
Hand up - I was so wrong about Murakami
Didn’t think he’d transition well in the MLB, but dude is killing it - All he does is hit nukes. I’m definitely a fan
Philadelphia Phillies
- Since NHL playoffs began: Flyers 6 goals - Phillies 6 runs
- Have scored in just one inning across 50% of their games played (11/22)
- L5 games: 0-22 w RISP. Tonight could mark 1 week w/o a hit w RISP
Team is bad - This isn’t a it’s “Only April” issue
You really can be a terrible starter for nine MLB seasons - And a simple move to the BP will revive your career
This is Antonio Senzatela’s savant page - Career 5.10 ERA/1.50 WHIP, who avg’d 94-95 on his FB
