@AsiimweJago @whatsdownUg @kyosimire_ @JackieAkampwera Prof @AsiimweJago Drugar is for us lowland Arabica farmers. We don't wash it. We dry whole cherry under sun like Kiboko. It's Arabica taste but Robusta processing. That's Drugar - 14,500-15,000 today. @JackieAkampwera Madam CEO can add more.

@JackieAkampwera Madam CEO @JackieAk... As farmers, we see $1=4,017 today but farm gate still 5k-6k Kiboko. No change yet. Dollar gain goes to exporter, not farmer, but our costs up. Should MAAIF revise price to reflect dollar? For now we hold, not sell today.

@KakandeAlex Implications: Fuel/phones/imports cost more = inflation. SMEs squeezed. Coffee exporters & diaspora win (more UGX). Govt debt cost up. Not Zimbabwe - it's 4k not 400k. BOU to stabilize.
