I sued but the cops had qualified immunity and the city only had to pay my dental and therapy bills. I wasn’t even a suspect just wrong place wrong time.

If you can��t bail out you’re stuck until they feel like trying your case. That could be weeks, months, or years later.

I know a guy that actually committed the crime he was in jail for but sat for so long the statute of limitations ran out on the crime he committed so he walked.

Once the in group of kids decide your kid isn’t cool it’s hard to shake that stigma. Kids can go years without making friends once ostracized. Does mom have money to move?

The father mostly has less rights
