@timstillman_ respect the valuations the club hold but with Gabi completing his deal it feels like we're scrabbling for a replacement.

if there was not a clear improvement we shouldn't have let Gabi go.

left side has been an issue for a few seasons , arguably we are currently weaker again

1. upgrades our left massively
2. commercially makes sense would offset some of the wage concerns
3. if it all blew up likely to make our money back selling him to Saudi.

that said until it happens feels like a contract negotiation

@TheArsenalMind He's a great finisher but the problem being Gyokeres wouldn't have been In the position to miss it.

Havertz pressing , build up play and pressing is superior to Gyokeres ATM.

include timber and calafiori, that needs to be our starting line up going into the last 5 games

@charles_watts this game has seemed so big, everyone is disappointed but what we should be upset at is the loss of control

league is over 38 games, man city haven't ruined it the poor results in the other games has, Man City are only relevant because it's given them a chance

we have been poor all of 2026, the results have flattered to decieve. Players look lost for a long time , it can't be just nerves .

it's like they are overthinking, could be too much instruction??

@charles_watts I feel Odergaard had a better game against Sporting than people give him credit.

there does seem to be a disconnect with styles however. On a few occasions he tried to lead the press, calling others up to support but players like Zubi would drop instead.

couple of times white caught out of position and can see Odergaard try and organise the press but when he calls people up players like Zubi drop.

I imagine your specialty in all those fields allows you to draw the conclusion that they are at fault somehow.

we're all nervous about the run in but don't attempt to dig professionals out. Shit happens , we just need to back the club now.

thought we had good depth this season but we seem to have numbers but the quality drop off is bigger than I thought it was
