An American Revolution film would make the Right crash out so hard. Washington forcing his troops to get inoculated against smallpox. A gay foreigner teaching our men how to be proper soldiers. It would be the wokest movie ever and also 100% true.
@alive_lake I work at a historic site where we wear 18th century clothes & work using the same methods & tools that would have been used at the time. I have to walk 2 blocks to & from the site every day. This is my life every damn day. It is so unbelievably annoying. I feel for this woman.

No one wants to hear this but you will find more wisdom in an old fairy-tale, a monologue from Shakespeare, a chapter of Jane Austen, than in all the self-help books in Barnes & Noble. You don't need more lifemaxxing, you need myth, poetry, beauty.

@FarFarrAway Franklin started the first lending library in Philadelphia on the 2nd floor of Carpenter's Hall. It's closed to the public, but I've been up there for my work. The original books are still there. Franklin is a fascinating person and for real the og Philadelphian
