@Novanamix@EnbyHoxha It’s the same way saying you’re a feeling a little depressed doesn’t necessarily mean you actually have clinical depression. Some people are using the labels in a colloquial and not clinical context, some are just pretending they have it out of ignorance, trend chasing, etc.
@Novanamix@EnbyHoxha That’s true of some people but people who are saying they’re “so OCD” because they like things a little neat and orderly aren’t actually OCD a lot of the time. People talking about their latest “autistic hyperfixation” aren’t necessarily actually autistic. It’s become buzzwords
@Novanamix@EnbyHoxha There’s nothing to gain from being OCD but people still act like they’re “so OCD” about stuff, now they act like they’re autistic too. And some people do it for the same reason they larp interest in certain games, they’re lonely and looking for community online
@FreyjaVT Unfortunately it’s because they benefit from the FOMO. SL and showcase art are basically all soft-reserve list. You have less incentive to buy new product if you know the new special art could just be reprinted. They’ve basically never reprinted art that wasn’t in a normal frame
Was on a date with a girl who kept mentioning wanting to learn Krav Maga as self-defense (maybe that’s her way of hitting on Jewish guys?) and it took everything in me to not say “oh do you keep getting attacked by toddlers?”
@GlenntheGolden1 It’s like looking at a Pokemon-themed chess set and going “see, this is the innovative new gameplay they could have if they weren’t so stagnant”
